About Us –
My wife, Karen and I started this business based on requests by our friends and family to sell our chili, salsa, tacos, bean dip, muffins, cereals and a variety of other prepared foods that they have tried and continually ask when the next batch will be ready.
We thought long and hard about having our products manufactured and came to the conclusion that to maintain the integrity of the products, we would package and sell the spices for each of our products and provide several recipes (we have created and used) for each spice\baking product through our website: themattoonsugarandspicecompany.com.
Our recipes will be designed to reach the non-diet, to low-fat\low cholesterol, and\or vegan population. Each of our recipes has been tested using their associated spices and the results have been excellent
While we have several spices\baking products we will be introducing, we will start with our chili spice and introduce additional products in the near future.
Our mission is to provide the highest quality, products to our customers to assure food safety and the opportunity to use our numerous recipes. Our goal is to assure that the quality of our products and recipes will be consistently as good tomorrow as they are today.
